I remember waiting for my turn and watching but most importantly listening to the people before me. Listening to their voices. Listening to the music that flows from their head. This was my first real experience of listening to the art of comedy. I see comedy as an art, a type of art that you have to be confident in, one that can go tits up faster than Katie Price's bra! Art is something that should be valued by all - not just the people who rehearse it.
Modern day comedy is something that is valued by many people in the world today. Greg Davies, Lee Mack, David Armand & Sarah Millcan are my main influences in the world of comedy. In the next couple of years or so I hope to be playing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival also known as the Edinburgh Comedy Festival which is the world's biggest arts festival.
Influential people
Also i must give thanks to my amazing friends that i have been so lucky and privileged to gain over the past 13 years at school and college.
Special thanks must be given to Denham Joyce who has influenced me to enter the world of comedy. I first met Denham in Y7 in my maths class when we spent the next five years doing nothing but howling with laughter and coincidently writing comedy together just through talking and interacting with people.
Harriet Newton is one of the most influential and special people who I've been fortunate enough to meet. She is so special to me in many ways that I can't actually describe. She has cheered me up when I've been down, made me laugh when I've been sad, and just been there for me over the past three years or so and I wish her the best of luck in life. Thank you Harriet.
